We embark on an adventurous and exciting journey into Khasab, the capital of Musandam. This calm fishing village and oasis overlooks the Gulf of Arabia and the Straits of Hormuz. We visit the restored Portuguese fort, which is now a museum full of Omani handicrafts and fascinating historical documents. Afterward we move to the neighboring village of Qadah to view the petroglyphs – prehistoric rock carvings – depicting camels, ships and warriors.
